About the Mission

First spacecraft to orbit a comet. Its Philae lander bounced and landed on its side in a shadow, limiting its solar power. Discovered molecular oxygen in the comets atmosphere. Found the water is different from Earths, suggesting comets did not bring our oceans. Ended by landing on the comet.
