About the Mission
A mission to a metal rich asteroid believed to be the exposed core of a shattered early planet. If right, it offers a direct look inside a rocky world like Earth. Launched on a Falcon Heavy in October 2023. Will arrive at asteroid Psyche in 2029. Uses gentle solar electric thrust to make the trip.
