About the Mission
Arrived at Mars in 2016 to hunt for methane and other trace gases. Dipped into the atmosphere for over a year of aerobraking to reach its science orbit. Found that any active methane sources are smaller than hoped. Serves as a communications relay for rovers on the surface. Its camera returns striking color images.
