About the Mission
A joint European-Japanese mission to Mercury. Uses solar electric propulsion and multiple gravity assists. Will arrive at Mercury in 2025. Carries two orbiters, one from each agency. Named after Giuseppe Bepi Colombo, an Italian scientist who calculated how to reach Mercury.
